Too Much Snow fell in Spokane!
Kira and Caity got an extra 5 days of Winter Break due to the massive amounts of snow and the inability of the city to clear it off the roads and roofs fast enough. A few roofs fell in because of the heavy snow. Dad, Kira and Caity spent a good chunk of the school break shoveling off the driveway, the berm placed in front of the driveway, and the roof! The side of the driveway got to be taller than Kira and Caity...even though they were shoveled down regularly. 
We got like 72" of snow!!!

Sad to say, but we moved from Spokane not a moment too soon. It is strange but it seems we have brought the mild weather with us. Winter here is a lot like I remember from Spokane aside from last year and this. I hope that despite the snow, all finds you well. Can't wait to see you next month. Only a few more days!!!

I kinda miss that snow! But 80 degrees in January is an ok trade off.

I have never seen that much snow down under. Maybe in our snowfields, but even those need snow machines to make the skiing able. We had a dog race (my husband and I have huskies which we race) a few years ago and there wasn't enough snow on the ground to have the race. But from your pictures, it doesn't look like global warming has caught up with Spokane!
